About the Author

Kathi Cameron

Kathi began her career as a fitness instructor working her way up to managing fitness and health programs. She has trained hundreds of personal trainers and fitness leaders while working as a kinesiologist specializing in exercise psychology and inclusive exercise spaces.

She has been a speaker, course creator, and facilitator for over 30 years on topics related to health and exercise. Known for her humour and engaging presentations, Kathi is currently focused on offering training opportunities for mental health and exercise professionals with the goal of bridging the gap between these siloed practitioners.

Currently, she works as a psychotherapist in private practice with a specialization in trauma, disordered eating, exercise abuse, and coaches individuals in business leadership, sport performance, and career/retirement. Although her practice incorporates many services, she implements exercise and health promotion strategies for those interested in supporting their mental health and human performance.

In her off hours she enjoys watching horror movies, mountain biking,  and practicing what she preaches. She is currently writing her next book examining the transitions and potential of women over 50.

Kathi is currently available for speaking engagements, consultations, and facilitations. To inquire or to book, please reach out at info@kathicameron.com
